Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about SIGMAX, portals, data isolation, project methods, tool set, belt certification, benefit validation, language, licensing and setup.
What is SIGMAX?+
SIGMAX is a multi-tenant web platform for managing Lean Six Sigma training and improvement projects in one place: clients and contracts, programs, academy and cohorts, improvement hub, project room and tollgates, a 110-tool tool set, benefit validation, belt certification and insights all live in the same application.
Who is it designed for?+
For teams delivering Lean Six Sigma training and consulting to several clients, and for the companies receiving these programs. The consulting side manages all its clients; the client side sees only its own program, projects, benefits and certificates; participants follow their own training, project and tasks.
Which portals are there?+
Three portals: the consultant portal (clients, programs, coaching, approvals), the client portal (program, users, improvement hub, projects, benefits, certification, insights) and the participant workspace (my training, my project, my tasks, my coach, my certificate). The platform admin can open all four views at once with the Portal Panel.
How is each client's data kept separate?+
Each client is a separate workspace. Every client address first checks access to the client, then whether the record belongs to that client; the data layer rejects links across clients. Rights depend on dated role assignments and every change is written to the audit log.
Which project methods does it support?+
DMAIC, DMADV / DFSS, Kaizen, A3, Lean project, digitalization project and Just Do It. Each method has its own phases and phase tools; when a phase is done it goes to a tollgate and passes the client's approval flow (approve, approve with conditions or revise).
What is in the Tool Set? Do I need separate statistics software?+
There are 110 tools in 11 groups; 35 of them calculate your data and draw the chart: descriptive statistics, normality, t and proportion tests, ANOVA, chi-square, non-parametric tests, correlation and regression, Gage R&R, process capability, control charts, Pareto, histogram, factorial DOE. For other analyses you can attach another program's output to the project as a tool or document link.
How are belt certificates issued?+
Attending is not enough. Depending on the belt, attendance, exam and assignment thresholds apply; Green and Black Belt also require a completed project, and Black Belt a validated benefit. A candidate meeting the automatic rules enters the MBB approval queue; approval produces a uniquely numbered PDF certificate with a QR code, checked on a verification page that needs no login.
How are benefits validated?+
The project leader enters each line with before / after values and implementation cost; the net benefit is calculated. The line goes to Finance (which may correct the amount) and then to the Sponsor; it counts as validated once both approve. A revision with a reason can be requested at each step and returns the line to the leader as a task.
What language is the application in?+
The SIGMAX interface, tool guidance and user guide are available in Turkish, English, German and French. Each user chooses their own language, and a default language can be set per client. The screenshots on this site are taken from the Turkish interface.
Which license models are available? What are the prices?+
Monthly subscription, annual subscription, purchase (perpetual license) and a project license for Grupas programs. Pricing depends on the license model and the number of users — contact us through the demo / quote form.
Does it need installation?+
No. SIGMAX runs in the browser; a dedicated environment and a separate database are prepared for you by Grupas. Your clients and participants sign in with their own user accounts.
How can I get a demo?+
Fill in the demo / quote form; we will get back to you and schedule a live walkthrough with sample data.
